Elephant & Castle

Elephant & Castle holds more residences than anywhere else we cover. It is a straight run into Holborn and the Strand on the Northern and Bakerloo lines, or about half an hour on foot along the river. The area is mid-rebuild around Elephant Park, so expect hoardings alongside the new restaurants for a few years yet. Rents here sit around the middle of our range rather than the top.

Urbanest was an amazing experience, spent a year here. Staff, both maintenance and reception are extremely friendly.
Big shoutout to JP and Taylor for making my experience great, and always being friendly and helpful to me.
There were some issues with the lift and electricity, the staff tried their best to keep us calm and evacuate us. I would say the problem was with the building itself, and should be looked into.
Overall amazing location! Would recommend it
I have attached the photo of my room view.
Living at Urbanest Westminster Bridge has been an incredible experience! The accommodation is modern, clean, and packed with top-notch amenities that make it feel like home. The location is ideal, putting me within easy reach of my university and London’s best spots. However, what truly stands out is the amazing staff. A special shoutout to Damir – his kindness, responsiveness, and dedication make a huge difference. No matter the request, he’s always there to help, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. He’s truly the heart of this place! For anyone considering student accommodation in London, I wholeheartedly recommend Urbanest Westminster Bridge.
Thank you so much for showing us around the student accommodation at the Urbanest Westminster George... you were the PERFECT host and tour guide, even though my granddaughter and I had been really cheeky and just dropped by on spec, on the off chance some lovely person would let us in!
That lovely person was you and you absolutely made my granddaughter's day! You were so kind and welcoming and went beyond the call of duty. Urbanest are very fortunate to have you on the staff, and as I believe you're a contact person for students, THEY are too!
The Urbanest is superb- Zuzia is absolutely sold on it now you've shown her round- and it gives us great peace of mind knowing where she will be and how well she'll be taken care of should all go to plan!
Thanks again George, you're an absolute star!!
Urbanest Westminster Bridge is an excellent location for students. It’s extremely close to the Big Ben, the London Eye, and the Westminster Abbey. It’s literally situated in the heart of the city and I must say the view from the terrace of the accommodation is breathtaking. I always go there when I want to get some fresh air and feel happy. I feel so safe in this area. Also, it’s literally got Tesco, M&S Simply Food, Sainsbury’s, Pret, and Co-op with in 5 mins of walking. The Waterloo station is also just 7 mins away. EVERYTHING A STUDENT CAN ASK FOR IS OFFERED AT URBANEST. However, the staff is sometimes not helpful, but you rarely have an issue here. BOOK YOUR PLACE IN THE JANUARY OF YOUR COMMENCEMENT YEAR! Also, try and book higher floors on the external sides.
The most LONDON location you could possibly get! right across from the Big Ben, 5 minutes walk from the London eye, and the view from the 18th floor balcony, with Big Ben, the Westminster bridge over the Thames and the London eye all at once is just simply stunning! the kind of view you have to pay a lot for anywhere else especially when it comes to the new year's celebration.
You are literally in the heart of London, with many grocery stores, Boots and cafes/ restaurants just a few minutes walk away from the accommodation. Various boss stops and a tube station again within 3-9 minutes walking distance.
There are always staff ready to help at the reception 24/7, and they are all very pleasant, specially the gentleman who speaks persian (didn't get to know his name but he was always so helpful and nice).
It felt pretty safe too despite the very central location. The rooms are comfortable and clean (there is just the slight issue of the train noise due to the close proximity to the waterloo station but you will get used to it) and the communal kitchen has all the necessities.
The only issue would be the laundry rooms not having enough capacity for the sheer number of students, but you can find the right time to do your laundry more easily. (Highly recommend changing the laundry service provider too!) There were few disturbances here and there (e.g.loud flatmates who don't clean up after themselves, but those were more issue with tenants rather than the accommodation itself tbh.)
Dedicated study space at the mezzanine floor, 3 different communal spaces on the 18th floor which you could also use to study with a view! gym, pool and a big reception area.
Staying there for a year was honestly an amazing experience that may have raised my expectations from accommodation in London a little too much!
